About T.J.

A Florist Designer, RIP Funeral Flowers was created during the Covid 19 demand for tribute flowers, and she is also known in business as TJ Designer Group and Weddings,

The companies were established back in May 2000 by Tracie Jackson-Way, Founder & Creative Director who graduated in Professional Floristry at Capel Manor College in Professional Floristry. TJ was awarded Florist of the Year in 2000 & 2001 for her outstanding designs and commitment to professional floristry. Her passion and knowledge of flowers and materials, sings throughout her work.

She is widely recognised across the South East, London Mayfair and the East Of England where she created her main business. Her bespoke floral designs, and displays are so creative with such ease, and they are created with care and passion. Her fresh and innovative approach has built her a wonderful reputation, and this delivers her repeat business and referrals, year after year. From corporate clients, to wedding couple and fabulous venues.

TJ and her team bring love, care and attention to detail for her clients, who need kindness, at such difficult times. Loosing a loved one, is so hard and heart breaking and her compassion to the families is with the upmost respect and care. She aims to exceed all expectations, time and time again. The many good wishes received over the years in business is a testament to this.

Always great energy and enthusiasm by TJ, and her expert team.

Sustainable Funerals

Creating sustainable funerals can be a thoughtful way to honor your loved ones while being mindful of the environment. Here are some ideas to incorporate beautiful flowers in a sustainable manner:

  1. Locally Sourced Flowers: Choose flowers that are grown locally to reduce the carbon footprint associated with transportation.

  2. Seasonal Blooms: Opt for flowers that are in season, as they are typically more sustainable and environmentally friendly.

  3. Organic Flowers: Use flowers that are grown without harmful pesticides or chemicals. Organic arrangements are better for the planet and for health.

  4. Dried Flowers: Consider using dried flowers for lasting beauty that can also be composted after the service.

  5. Biodegradable Containers: Arrange flowers in biodegradable or compostable containers instead of plastic vases.

  6. Plantable Supplies: Use arrangements made with plantable materials, such as seed paper, which can grow into flowers or plants after the funeral.

  7. Donation Options: After the funeral, consider donating flowers to local hospitals or nursing homes, spreading joy while minimizing waste.

  8. Natural Decorations: Incorporate natural elements like twigs, leaves, and stones alongside flowers for a rustic and organic look.

  9. Recycling: After the event, recycle arrangements where possible, or compost the plant materials to return nutrients to the earth.

By incorporating these ideas, you can create a beautiful tribute that honors your loved ones while also being environmentally conscious.
